Spring Blossom

This week we have blossoming trees, a lot of denim and some furriness! And don’t get fooled by the sunshine, it’s cold enough to have my overcoat on.

After so many rainy days, the sun is shinning again! It’s wonderful to walk around during the sunny days, even if it’s cold. Most trees are blossoming, making all streets pretty and the birds are singing along, which for me makes for a perfect Spring day! On these days I like to sit in the garden with Aimee (the cat) and enjoy the sun just warming us up a little :)

With this look I’m keeping warm by layering some pieces. I’m wearing skinny jeans with a denim shirt. I added a sweater to the double denim look, and an overcoat for the chilly weather. With this simple look I can keep all the focus on the shoes. And the shoes are just so fun!

You probably have seen furry sneakers before (and if you haven’t, check here for some examples). They have been around a lot, during fashion week for example, on the feet of famous bloggers and celebrities. I find furry sneakers so cute, but most of the models are from really expensive brands and designers that I can’t afford. So I took some time to think about it and decided to make my own! I made faux fur (detachable) patches to give some extra life to my Adidas. I’m so in love with this new addition to my sneakers! So in love that I’m preparing a DIY tutorial for you guys, plus a little surprise. So stay tuned, because later this week I’ll tell you everything. So excited!
