Hey there! I’m back! After a lot of travelling it is time to get things organized around here an I thought the best way would be by sharing with you a current favourite on my wardrobe – this super cute denim midi-skirt!

Skirt – Levi’s (available here & here)

Top – Mango (available here)

Shoes – Uterque (similar here & here)

Bag – Mango (similar here)

Watch – DKNY (available here)

I’m really in love with this skirt. I bought it at Levi’s some time ago and I’ve find that it really is a key wardrobe piece. This simple A-line denim midi-skirt is a trendy piece that will not get out of fashion anytime soon. You can wear it in so many different ways that I think combinations for it are almost endless. Because of its length this skirt will also be a good transition piece for the first fall days and it will look great with boots too. I really like to wear it with this ruffle top from Mango, and as for the bag and shoes I thought nude was the ideal match. Both the top and the skirt are on sale right now (see links above). I’m also wearing a silver DKNY watch, which is now for sale at The Next Closet. I’ve decided I’m more of a rose gold watch kind of person and so my silver watch is looking for a new home :)

Updates

So it has been a couple weeks since I last had the chance to post. Summer is usually the busiest of times with a lot of travelling involved and these past 2 months were no exception. First with the 2 week trip to the US, which I didn’t have the chance to tell you much about, but all in all I love it and it was a great experience. I was visiting at the University of Maryland (College Park) and at the Space Telescope Science Institute (Baltimore), and it was such a great experience! With the busy schedule I only had the change to visit Washington DC for one day. It was amazing though. I really loved the city and hope to be back soon to explore more – I could be lost on those museums for days! So yes, my first time in the US turned out to be a lot of fun and a very enriching experience both scientifically and at personal level.

When I got back I just had time to prepare for the conference in Athens, Greece (which I attended last week). This was also my first time to Greece and I am so happy I had the chance to go. Athens is a really beautiful city, full of treasures, amazing restaurants and so much culture! I also took a couple days to go to the beach, the place where I always find myself happy. Will definitely return!

You can see more from my trips by following my Instagram account! I’m also doing something quite fun with my summer holidays this year, but I’ll tell you about it next time. For now enjoy this new week, which is a pretty cool one since it is my birthday! :)

  1. Hello!! I´m so in love with this skirt. I tried it on in an outlet Levi´s but it was too small. Do you have any idea where I can find it? I`m looking at all this websites but I can`t find. Thanks a lot =)

    1. Thanks Lisa! It’s a bit of a statement piece, but it works well with different pieces so I can wear it a lot during spring and summer.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

  2. The top I already said it was really cute when you combined it with faux leather in one of your previous post, which looked great! Also, in this outfit this top suits very well, so it is a must have piece! :) The skirt is really a surprise for me, because I had never been fan of skirts that long but I seriously think from your post that this outfit just looks amazing on you. I think I will try it! :) xx

    1. Of course you should try it darling :D
I would love to see that! And yes the top is super cute :) I love to wear it, but because it is still new I find myself ‘saving it’ for special occasions haha

      Hope you had nice vacation!

  3. Absolutely loving the skirt and this whole look! I have a similar A-line skirt but a bit shorter, made from old jeans, so I will have to take that one out of my closet now and think of some nice combinations (as I never wore it, oooops) =)!

    1. Annick! So happy you like this :D

When I first got the skirt I also had my doubts, but I’m pretty sold now! I want to see yours. I’m sure it will look great! Did you make it yourself? I’m making a dress with old jeans now :)

      xx
