New look for this week, taking advantage of the nice temperatures we’re experiencing this Sunday! Could Spring really be here to stay? I doubt it. Let’s enjoy while it lasts!

I get really excited when the good weather is around. On those days I forget that perhaps for another couple weeks I won’t see the Sun again. On those days I miss Portugal a bit less (btw, I’ll be going back in two weeks YAY!) and I wake up happy and full of energy, as I always used to do when the sunshine was just as granted as the sky being blue. In the Netherlands though, the sky is rarely blue and the Sun is very shy. Don’t get me wrong, I love to live here. But seriously if I could place the Netherlands a bit closer to the equator I would, and then I could stay here forever. But in this case sometimes I dream that I can have some sort of job that allows me to move to Portugal from May to September and work from there in that time (life would be sweet!).

Anyway, about this look. This look is all about the details. A basic cardigan and jeans just make for a very casual outfit. Adding a lace top, gives it a special touch. I find lace, and specially black lace, really romantic and a nice detail to add when you want your outfit to shine a bit more, while keeping the overall casual feeling. Add beautiful jewerly to it and a bit of colour on your lips and TADA, you’re ready to go. Ah, and don’t forget the comfortable wedges!
