Kitten heels have made a major comeback. Immortalized in the 60s by Audrey Hepburn, this sensible heel made its way back onto the catwalks. I’ll wear them with cropped jeans (see here), skirts, dresses and, for a more formal but functional look (see here).

Classics for me are a black blazer over a white top, that pair of tailored trousers that go with everything, a red lipstick, and my favorite shades because no one needs to know how tired you feel on a Monday morning.
I know this comes a bit out of season but here it is. A post dedicated to my first knitting project, a simple scarf. It’s the easiest project of all but with it, I learned that indeed knitting is one of the best ways of relaxation and such a fun and productive manner of reducing stress. If you’re not new around here, you’re well aware of my love affair with bows. Big or small, as a ribbon or as a design detail, if it has a bow on it I’m likely to wear it. When present in my outfits, bows are usually a small detail. But I guess sometimes more is actually more, and when making myself a bow shirt I opted for a statement piece – the oversized bow!
Spring first blossoms are here and with them the first warmer days we’ve had in a long time. To celebrate I took my white jeans out of the closet and paired them with a pink sweater and my pink loafers. To finish the look, I tied a velvet ribbon into a bow around my neck, for a sweet final touch!
