I’ve decided to take a little summer break. A little break may be helpful for my Ph.D. progress as I will come back more relax and energized after some days in Portugal with my family. With this last minute decision of moving to the seaside for some days, I soon realized my wardrobe was very ill prepared for such trip. So last weekend I set to resolve the situation and made a full collection of self-drafted off-shoulder tops and an off-shoulder yellow sundress. Now I’m ready for summer!
Finding the perfect summer dress can be hard. Finding the perfect fit even harder! Bodies come in all sort of shapes and sizes. Beautiful dresses very often don’t. This Asos midi dress is an exception! And here’s why!
A trench coat is the ultimate transitional piece. Perfect for spring and still great for the autumn, the trench is the most timeless wardrobe staple you’ll ever buy. An investment that I felt it was well worth making and yet it was so hard to find the right one!
Classics for me are a black blazer over a white top, that pair of tailored trousers that go with everything, a red lipstick, and my favorite shades because no one needs to know how tired you feel on a Monday morning.
If you’re not new around here, you’re well aware of my love affair with bows. Big or small, as a ribbon or as a design detail, if it has a bow on it I’m likely to wear it. When present in my outfits, bows are usually a small detail. But I guess sometimes more is actually more, and when making myself a bow shirt I opted for a statement piece – the oversized bow!
