I know this comes a bit out of season but here it is. A post dedicated to my first knitting project, a simple scarf. It’s the easiest project of all but with it, I learned that indeed knitting is one of the best ways of relaxation and such a fun and productive manner of reducing stress. No more depressing winters for me!
I did wish the first post of this year to be something a bit more glamorous. But the cold has got the best of us since day 1 of this new year and so it was really not possible to go out and shoot. I’m really hoping we get better soon and hopefully, next week a new outfit post will be out. Fingers crossed! Meanwhile here’s a simple step-by-step DIY tutorial to help you turn old chairs into new!
We’ve just decorated the house with posters and I’m really excited to share the results of this interior design project with you! Here’s a sneak peek of our home and the beauty of decorating with posters.

This week it’s Fashion Revolution week. This Sunday, on the 24th of April, there will be 3 years since 1,134 people were killed when the Rana Plaza complex, a building hosting mostly clothing factories, collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The victims were mostly women. Since then the Fashion Revolution organization was born and this week is time to stop and ask, “Who made my clothes?”.
As promised, the tutorial to make your own DIY faux fur sneakers is here! Following these steps you can make your own faux fur pads to decorate your sneakers. It works with velcro and laces, and allows for some fun combinations! And if you’re really not a crafter and still would like to get your hands on these faux fur pads, you can enter the GIVEAWAY in which a lucky winner will get to choose a handmade set (by me) for free!
